There’s an anniversary show on tonight, when legendary drummer Carl Palmer brings his band to the Assembly to celebrate forty years since the release of ELP’s Pictures at an Exhibition. Tickets £17.50
On Wednesday the legendary American comedian, magician and according to Channel 4 fourth best stand-up of all time Jerry Sadowitz performs at the Assembly. Unsurprisingly this is an 18+ show. Tickets £18
Bad Manners are performing on Friday, in more ways than one. Never the most serious ska band around, a good time is still guaranteed with Buster & co. This one is followed by the Cortina Nights Modraphenia evening. Tickets £15
One of the most influential bands of the past 30 years play on Saturday in the shape of the Undertones. Not only did they record John Peel’s favourite song of all time, they were also responsible for more copyist bands than you could ever imagine. Tickets £16
On Sunday there’s the Vaccines, probably the biggest selling new band of 2011. Their debut album What Did You Expect From, drew critical and popular acclaim earlier in the year and their blend of influences ranging from the fifties onwards makes for an unforgettable live show. Tickets sold out
