Last chance to see record of 2017 festival.
The Exhibition of Photography from the Birmingham, Solihull & Sandwell Jazz Festival has enter ed its final month. Sited on the main concourse of New Street Station, the exhibition has already enjoyed a footfall of more than 3.5 million people and will remain in place until Wednesday 31st January.
The exhibition, curated by second year students from Birmingham City University, features sixty photos from the work of project leader Merlin Daleman from Holland (who took this picture of drummer Harry Weston-Cottrell from Ricky Cool & the In Crowd), as well as those by Bradley Pearce (whose picture of the Busquitos is front page) plus Polish photographers Greg Gdowski and Margaret Mas.
The photographs were taken during the 33rd edition of the Jazz Festival during July 2017 with 225 performances in 99 venues across the region. The 34th Birmingham, Solihull & Sandwell Jazz Festival takes place from July 20th to 29th 2018.
