Dressed in 1920s-50s period costume, riders will parade the city centre for an hour-long ride at a civilised pace.

The event will start with a picnic at the St Pauls square.

The Urban Cycles will be present to promote city cycling and also to help participant adjust their bikes where needed.

The riders will then depart on a scenic route that will weave around central Birmingham, passing some of city’s best historical sites. They will make a stop at the East side park, opposite the old Curzon street station, to engage in “vintage” games such as umbrella jousting (umbrella jousting was first introduced at The Chap Olympiad).

The event will be finishing at the Spotted Dog pub where riders and guests will enjoy live music performance.

The ride is free and open to all.

Riders will congregate at 2pm for a two hour picnic. The ride will depart at 4pm and last approximately 1-2 hours.
