HSBC has strengthened its Midlands Corporate team with two new arrivals.
Russ Chauhan as Senior Corporate Banking Manager, and Liz Jones as Corporate Banking Manager. Both roles have a strong emphasis on business development and HSBC is keen to talk to Midlands businesses with a turnover of over £30 million that are trading, or planning to trade, internationally.
Russ has been with HSBC for 33 years and has spent the majority of his career in the Midlands. He was most recently a Senior International Commercial Manager with the bank’s Northampton Commercial Centre.
Liz is originally from Dudley and has been with the bank since 2009 after graduating from Birmingham University. She has spent the last two years in Singapore with the International Business Team, helping UK and European companies open subsidiary businesses within Singapore and across Asia.
Mark Harris, HSBC Head of Corporate for the Midlands, said: “Both Russ and Liz are fantastic additions to the team and bring strong international experience with them. We are keen to talk to businesses in the region that are operating internationally or plan to because our global presence makes us an obvious banking partner; Russ and Liz will be out meeting companies to talk to them about their plans and how we can help.”
