Warwick Castle to host three day comedy festival

Special celebrity performances set to mark event at iconic landmark.

This September, Warwick Castle, in partnership with Closeup Comedy and Digbeth Dining Club, is set to host an exciting three-day comedy festival Comedy at the Castle featuring some of the biggest names in comedy.

The festival promises an unforgettable experience, blending side-splitting stand-up comedy with award-winning street food and live DJ sets, all within the breathtaking surroundings of Warwick Castle

Taking place from 14th-16th September, comedy lovers can enjoy award-winning street food, exceptional cocktails and sublime beverages from 6pm as they soak of live music from host DJs, before taking their seats for some hilarious comedy from 8pm.

The lineup includes the likes of online sensation Troy Hawke as well as Mock The Week’s Milton Jones, comedy actor Dylan Moran, The Chase’s Paul Sinha, and over 12 more acts, ensuring non-stop laughter and entertainment across the three evenings.

Thursday night’s lineup kicks off with internet sensation Troy Hawke, known for his association with the Greeters Guild and fresh from a hugely successful tour across Europe. Following him, the stage will be graced by Mock the Week’s Rhys James, as well as Hal Cruttenden from Radio 4 and Have I Got News For You.

Alex Kealy, who co-hosts a podcast with Ivo Graham, will also take the spotlight before the evening’s big finale featuring none other than comedy giant Shappi Khorsandi, headlining the night with her incredible talent.

Friday night will be equally spectacular, with quizzing star Paul Sinha taking the stage, followed by Garrett Millerick, Sarah Keyworth, and the sensational Dylan Moran, known for his BAFTA award-winning performances and global acclaim.

The grand finale on the third day features the talents of Zoe Lyons, Scott Bennet, Eshaan Askbar, and the legendary Milton Jones, renowned for his wit and intelligence. Each evening will be hosted by Closeup Comedy’s resident host, Freddy Quinne, whose podcast “Dead Men Talking” has gained a massive following online.
