Cadbury World gets set for a new year

Enjoy a day choc-full of fun at Cadbury World in 2022.

Cadbury World has plenty of fun on offer for families this year, including the chance to check out the attraction’s enchanting pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, and enjoy afternoon tea with Cadbury World’s choc-tastic characters.

With pantomime performances of Sleeping Beauty taking place on weekends in January from Saturday 22nd, the 15-minute-long magical production will be shown ten times per day, giving visitors plenty of opportunity to catch the show and join in with the chorus of boos and cheers.

Families can expect plenty of laughter and audience participation, as they discover whether Princess Aurora will be saved from the Evil Queen, with a little help from Silly Billy and Prince Charming.

What’s more, on weekends and school holidays from 22nd January, guests will also have the chance to share magical moments with the much-loved Cadbury characters over a spot of delicious Afternoon Tea, including posing for selfies with and high-fiving everyone’s favourite frog, Freddo. Hosted in a private area of the Cadbury Café conservatory, Cadbury World’s Character Afternoon Tea gives the classic British experience a chocolatey twist.

The excitement continues throughout the attraction as guests can discover an assortment of chocolatey zones through the self-guided tour. Families can take a ride on the Crunchie rollercoaster in the unmissable 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, catch the talented chocolatiers in action in the Chocolate Making zone, as well as practice their piping skills in the Have A Go zone.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Our pantomimes have been hugely popular with families for years, and Sleeping Beauty has been no exception, so we’re thrilled we can extend the show for visitors to enjoy.

“We’re proud to offer a great value day out that the whole family can enjoy as all entertainment is included in our admission price, allowing guests to enjoy a magical day out filled with entertainment and plenty of interactive experiences.”
