Old favourite for the new year.
As Cadbury World prepares to open its doors for 2017, there’s more in store for visitors over the first two weekends, as the Cinderella pantomime returns.
Following record visitor numbers to the attraction’s Christmas events in 2016, Cadbury World is starting 2017 in style with the return of the popular pantomime on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January, and Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February.
The hunt is on to find who fits Cinderella’s glass slipper – and with Prince Charming, best friend Buttons, and the Chuckle Bean Fairy Godmother for company – the classic fairy tale guarantees giggles for the whole family.
The live performance, based on the classic children’s tale with a chocolatey twist, will be shown seven times per day, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to join in the characteristic chorus of boos and cheers.
Elsewhere in the attraction, visitors can explore the magic and making of the famous Cadbury brand through the attraction’s chocolatey zones. From exploring the history through the Aztec Jungle and Bull Street zones and watching a chocolatier in action in Chocolate Making, to experiencing the feeling of diving into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster in the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, there’s plenty to bring the magic of Cadbury to life.
With lots more on offer, including the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, stocked with all the Cadbury favourites, as well as the Cadbury Café, and African Adventure play area for children, 2017 is set to be another great year for the attraction.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Following a brilliant Christmas period here at Cadbury World, we’re delighted to be bringing back our popular pantomime for the New Year. We have lots of events planned for this year so watch this space for an unmissable 2017 at Cadbury World!”
Cadbury World reopens for 2017 on Wednesday 25th January at 10am. Telephone bookings can be made from Monday 23rd January onwards, and online reservations can be made from Wednesday 25th January onwards. For more information, visit www.cadburyworld.co.uk.
