The sublime and the ridiculous.
Taking their cues from film noir, gangland Britain and the clowning tradition, the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company put their own contemporary spin on Shakespeare’s most dangerous play in a forthcoming production at Artrix. Tragic and hilarious in equal measures this innovative take on The Scottish Play features femmes fatale, high-speed chases, killer lines, killer crimes and some seriously weird sisters.

A Cambridge educated grammar school boy who became a respected LSE lecturer, and the creator and presenter of many very popular historical TV series, Dr Starkey is known for his forthright views. Once more, Barnstormers Comedy at Artrix on Saturday 21st November will be featuring three top acts from the London and National Comedy Circuit. This month, compere Kevin Precious will introduce the acerbic musings of David Whitney, the unique outlook of Steve Day and the larger-than-life Quincy.
