In November 1980 The Jam released their fifth studio album Sound Affects, featuring their second single to reach the number one spot Start! and the acoustic masterpiece That’s Entertainment. This album often competes for the title of their best record due to its mix of sixties psychedelic rock and funk alongside a political commentary that was innovative for its time.

To celebrate the 35th anniversay of the album’s release, bassist Bruce Foxton will lead From the Jam through the entire tracklist plus a host of other Jam classics on Friday 4th December.
