The party will take place at Molineux Stadium on Saturday 20 April 2013 from 7pm and will include a drinks reception, buffet and live musical entertainment.

The reunion is open to Wolverhampton graduates of all years, plus up to three guests, and will feature appearances from two notable University graduates; herpetologist Mark O’Shea and ‘Fruit of the Loom’ HR Director Milissa Chesters.

This year’s event has added significance as it is part of the institution’s ’21 and Proud’ campaign to mark 21 years since Wolverhampton gained University status. The reunion will take on a birthday party theme and will include a special ‘21 and Proud’ cake to commemorate the anniversary.

The reunion will be opened by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Geoff Layer, and will also be attended by members of the Offices of the Vice-Chancellor, Deans of various Schools at the University, the President of the WLV Alumni Association Ken Harris, and the President of the Students’ Union Dan Batchelor.

Teaching staff from the Schools will also be attending in response to feedback from last year’s reunion that guests were keen to see their old lecturers again.

Amy Roberton, Alumni Relations Manager at the University of Wolverhampton, said: “We are delighted to be hosting our second alumni reunion following the success of last year’s event. It is the highlight of the WLV Alumni Association calendar and this year we are especially looking forward to sharing the University’s anniversary celebrations with our graduates.

“As well as giving old friends the chance to catch up, the reunion will be a great opportunity for graduates of all years to network with each other and potentially open up new and exciting doors for them.”

Tickets for the evening cost £10 per person and can be purchased online up until 1pm on Friday 19 April, or on the door on the night itself.
