Little Red…You Know Who

On Thursday 21 February, Freehand Theatre, one of the country’s leading puppet theatre companies, will be bringing new production, Little Red…You Know Who to The Public.

Little Red You Know WhoLittle Red….You Know Who is based on the traditional favourite story of Little Red Riding Hood and is brought to life by the Yorkshire based theatre company in a new and original way which will promises to excite and delight its young audience.

Simon Hatfield and Lizzie Allen, Freehand’s artistic directors have spent many months creating the puppets, visual effects and beautiful setting for the show, working alongside talented composer Hugh Nankivell.

Suitable for children aged 3-7.

Lizzie Allen, Artistic Director and writer of the production said: “We’ve tried to create a story that is warm and reassuring and fun.  Young audiences are loving this theatrical experience which is full of surprises and enjoyable moments involving a small endearing bear who would like to be a wolf and a little girl who has a special red hat and her favourite red shoes!”

Little Red….You Know Who will take place at The Public on Thursday 21 February during half-term at 2.30pm.
