On Friday BRIT-winning singer-songwriter Beth Orton will be playing as part of a tour ahead of her new, as yet untitled, album. Tickets (standing only) are £18.50.
Saturday sees a double bill of blues rock with Larry Miller and Stray. Described as the natural successor to Rory Gallagher, Miller’s album from last year, Unfinished Business was widely praised. Veteran rockers Stray were doyens of the seventies live circuit and have continued to perform on and off over the decades. Tickets £15
On Sunday, local legends Magnum play the Assembly. Once described as the perfect example of a band who went from small halls to large arenas and back again without doing anything different, Magnum’s brand of pomp rock has been honed over thirty-odd years of playing together and their new album The Visitation is as good as ever. Tickets £18.50
