Organisers Expo Management have announced that the 2013 Best of Britain & Ireland event will be held at the NEC, Birmingham in Hall 8 on Wednesday March 13 and Thursday March 14.

“Almost without exception our exhibitors and our visitors hailed Best of Britain & Ireland 2012 a tremendous success in terms of increased numbers, quality and particularly buying power – something we are determined to maximise and improve on even more in 2013,” said show Event Director Sam Warnock.

Positive responses from exhibitors in relation to visitor numbers and quality compared to the previous year doubled from 18% to 36% and from 12% to 23% respectively, while visitor perceptions of 2012 compared to 2011 was also positively up from 29% to 41% of visitors rating the show better than previous years.

In addition, following feedback on the visitor and exhibitor surveys on the 2012 event, reaction from the ‘Best of Britain & Ireland’ industry working group which includes organisations such as Coach Tourism Council, Group Travel Organisers Association, European Tour Operators Association, UKinbound, Tourism Society, Confederation of Passenger Transport and Tourism Management Institute, has also been extremely positive and supportive.

More details on the show are planned to be announced in late summer.
