Reward of up to £10,000 offered for information on shooting of two teenage boys.
Independent charity Crimestoppers has put up a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for shooting two teenage boys in Victoria Road around 8.15pm on Friday 2nd November.
The boys, aged 14 and 15, were knocking at the door of a family home in Victoria Road when a shot was fired from a vehicle. There were about ten young children in the house at the time of the incident, including a baby.
Did you see a car that looked suspicious between 8.00 and 8.15pm? Maybe one that went back and forth in the area? Were you driving around Victoria Road? Do you have dashcam footage?
Crimestoppers is now offering the reward of up to £10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Pauline Hadley, West Midlands Regional Manager at the charity, said: “We believe everyone has the right to feel safe from crime, whether in their home, place of work or whilst walking in the street. To have someone shot outside of their home is extremely worrying.
“Did you see a car that looked suspicious between 8.00 and 8.15pm? Maybe one that went back and forth in the area? Were you driving around Victoria Road? Do you have dashcam footage? Whoever did this could shoot at someone else in your community. You can stop that from happening. We need to prevent any further danger to the community and are therefore putting up a reward to encourage anyone who knows who was involved, to come forward.
