The SoundWaves Music Competition, an annual music event happening in all the major cities across the UK, has concluded six regional finals each at a mainstage O2 Academy Venue in the UK, bursting with the ever growing high standard of music across the country. One finalist from each city has successfully made the national grand finale competition event happening on 23rd June.

The music competition SoundWaves is designed to nurture new music and discover the UK’s best new talents and celebrate them. The event will be showcasing it’s grand finalists after searching the length and breadth of the UK in a bid to find a music act to tour the UK and win large scale prizes, including support from the SoundWaves management staff and label team.

Soundwaves Music Competition which has only in the past year grown into a national brand used to be a regional competition event then which has seen previous successful competitors including X Factor’s Sam Lavery, rock outfit As Sirens Fall and The Voice UK’s Anna McLuckie.

On Saturday 23rd June the overall final collating the winners from each city across the UK is happening at O2 Institute Birmingham to showcase bands and singers of all ages and genres from pop music, indie, electronic to rock and more. The show is sold out, proving popular with new music fans.

Over 1,000 talented acts applied for the competition nationally and now only the top 8 remain to win the overall prizes. The top eight will perform the show of a lifetime with the ultimate stage and light experience at O2 Institute Birmingham infront of record labels and music industry personnel in a bid to emerge to the victorious number one spot. It’s set to be a huge show!
