It is seven months since the original appeal was issued by the charity, but 19 year-old Parker-Lee is still on the run. Crimestoppers and Mr Mahmood’s family have now tripled the reward, raising it from £2,000 to up to £6,000.

Mr Mahmood died after being stabbed in the stomach during an altercation outside Dixi Chicken takeaway on the High Street, Brierley Hill, shortly before 5pm on Saturday 15 October 2016.

The charity Crimestoppers and the victim’s family are now offering a reward of up to £6,000 for information that leads to Niron Parker-Lee’s arrest. Pauline Hadley, Crimestoppers’ Regional Manager for the West Midlands, said: “Mr Mahmood’s wife and family are desperate for answers and they deserve to see justice. This poor young man died after being senselessly attacked with a knife on a busy street in Brierley Hill.

“Nineteen-year-old Niron Parker-Lee must be found as he is wanted for questioning regarding this crime. Parker-Lee should not be approached by the public as he is described as dangerous. Someone somewhere will know where he is and they can contact our charity’s UK contact centre on the phone or online whilst remaining 100% anonymous.”
