The Glee Club have announced their October performers.
Thursday 3rd – Saturday 5th October
Andy Askins, Junior Simpson, Craig Murray (Thursday), Matt Winning (Thursday), Tanyalee Davis (Friday & Saturday), Peter White (Friday & Saturday)
Tanyalee Davis is a 3 foot 6 inch stand-up comedian who inspires, enlightens, and entertains her audiences while headlining at comedy clubs and festivals around the world with her own unique perspective and somewhat racy brand of comedy. She’s been seen on many TV shows including Adam Hills: Comically Challenged.
Thursday 10th – Saturday 12th October
Daniel Townes, Steve Gribbin, Bethany Black, Chris McGlade (Thursday), Tom Toal (Friday & Saturday)
The last few years have been huge for Daniel Townes, in 2011 he recorded his first live DVD Previously at the Sydney Comedy Store, and was shortlisted for both the People’s Choice Award and title of Sydney’s Best Comedian in the 2011 Time Out Magazine Awards during the Sydney Comedy Festival.
Thursday 17th-Saturday 19th October
Mark Nelson, The Noise Next Door, Matt Price, Rudi Lickwood
Mark Nelson won Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2006, and has continued to rise ever since with his powerhouse of dark humour and cutting observations, wrapped in a likeable manner. He has supported Mark Steel, Andrew Maxwell and Jim Jeffries on tour, and is definitely destined for big things.
Thursday 24th-Saturday 26th October
The Noise Next Door, John Fothergill, Danny McLoughlin, Wouter Meijs
The Noise Next Door are the only comedy troupe who play the mainstream comedy circuit, regularly headlining nights all over the country. They have appeared alongside some of the biggest names in contemporary comedy including Harry Hill, Ed Byrne and Rufus Hound and in the last three years they’ve taken the comedy world by storm, leaving audiences everywhere in awe of their lightning fast wit and totally original comedic talents.
