Ammalife, the medical charity officially backed by this site, has produced its own video to show the work it carries out around the world.
The 6 minute film can be seen on its website (www.Ammalife.org). Just use the click-through button on its front page to view.
The video, shot in Malawi, talks to people who benefit from the organisation’s work. Projects include delivering essential maternal and pregnancy health plans to developing countries to save the lives of mothers and their children.
Ammalife is run by doctors and nurses who work at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. The video includes interviews with charity chairman Professor Arri Coomarasamy and nurse Amie Wilson who has worked overseas and is currently researching her doctoral thesis in nursing.
The video was edited by Gas Street Works, based in Birmingham, and is embedded on Youtube.
