Blues shoe-in a Cobblers victory

Andy Munro watches Blues’ pre-season win at Northampton.

Blues continued their winning friendly run with a one-nil win against a Northampton side whose confidence should have been buoyed by their recent promotion to the first division.

In some ways it seemed like a regular day at the office but one wonders whether just one match against higher standard opposition might have been wise.
