Popular Knowle pub set to relaunch

Stunning new look for canalside venue.

The King’s Arms in Knowle is set to reopen this month after undergoing a significant investment that has given the much-loved eating and drinking destination a spectacular new look.

Upon reopening, The King’s Arms will continue to offer a top-quality menu, serving fresh flavours inspired by the seasons and modern world-food trends where you can enjoy a broad range of premium grill dishes, Asian influences plus plenty of healthier and lower calorie options.

Leading the charge is Head Chef Matt Hope, working alongside an expert team of chefs using the very best ingredients. Showcasing seasonal flavours, the menu is packed full of irresistible creations and comforting classics, plus a dedicated vegan menu.

Still offering fantastic value, the lunch menu will include dishes under 650 calories, hand-stretched stone-baked pizzas and freshly prepared sandwiches. A brunch menu of classic favourites and healthy alternatives will also be served from 9am on Saturdays and Sundays.

To make weekends extra special, you can peruse the extensive cocktail menu, while roast dinners at The Red Lion are not to be missed – on Sundays, diners can enjoy a hearty roast with all the trimmings with family and friends.

General Manager Stefan Widdowson-Wright comments: “The team at The Kings Arms really are superstars – they are dedicated and hardworking, and fully invested in the remodel process; we cannot wait to welcome everyone back! We look forward to revealing the results of the extensive remodel to regulars and new customers alike and can’t wait to hear their feedback – we’re sure it will be fantastic.”

As part of the refurbishment, the historical pub has received a full ‘Country Club’ inspired makeover. Using rich natural tones, each room within the King’s Arms has its own unique feature including wallpaper panelling in the connoisseur club, showcase lighting in the great room and a feature bookcase in the curator space. The sanctuary area is a more relaxed space with comfy seating for casual catch-ups and the garden area overlooking the Grand Union Canal has also had a makeover with all-new fire pits and sophisticated seating.
