CBSO return to Hockley Social Club

Symphonic Sessions returning for another year.

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has announced that it will return to Hockley Social Club for a third time on Thursday 5th May, presenting its Symphonic Sessions, an evening of music and poetry exploring fantasy and escapism.

CBSO musicians will entertain audiences with an adventurous set-list complemented by melodic mixes from acclaimed DJ Echo Juliet, while Birmingham’s brilliant poet laureate Casey Bailey will interweave his poetry amongst the music.

The CBSO’s popular Symphonic Sessions are part of the orchestra’s commitment to reaching wider, younger and more diverse audiences beyond the concert hall, in different communities across the city. The first two Symphonic Sessions in 2021 sold out and two further sessions will be announced as part of the orchestra’s 2022/23 season launch.

Hockley’s street food superstars Buddha Belly, Kodawari, Andy Low’n’Slow and Confection will be on hand to provide a range of food to cater for all tastes alongside drinks from the bar.

Tickets are £15 including drink or a group ticket is £50 for four people, including drink.
