City’s hottest artists set to shine once more.
Midlands music fans will be delighted to hear that organisers Jo Jeffries and Simon Pitt are making advanced preparations for the third annual Birmingham Music Awards.
Last year the likes of Lady Leshurr, Dapz On The Map and Andy McCluskey from OMD took part in a glittering ceremony at The Mill, and now plans wil be announced for the 2020 event at the VIP and Press launch, which takes place at The Crossing in Digbeth on Wednesday, 20th November.
Hosts Cassandra Maria and DJ Biggoss will be joined by press, record labels, songwriters, producers, managers, Radio and TV, legals, publishers and agents, plus some of the hottest artists in the city.
A stellar line-up is due to include performances from X-Factor live finalist Relley C, Riscas (five million Spotify streams), and Kioko, who are currently supporting UB40 on their seemingly endless 40th anniversary tour.
Also on the bill are the soaring vocals and Afrotwang beats of Namiwa Jazz, the intense grimey bars of last year’s BMA Rising Star winner Mayday, Brummie darlings of South Korea, Karkosa, and some hard rock‘n’road from absolute lads Citylightz.
