Halloween treat at Cadbury World

Terrifyingly good chocolate creation unveiled for half-term.

Cadbury World’s chocolatiers have revealed a frighteningly fang-tastic creation to celebrate the arrival of its Halloween Spooktacular from Saturday 21st October to Sunday 29th October.

Expertly crafted from a mix of white and milk chocolate, the creation weighs in at an impressive 25kg – the equivalent of 555 bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk. The creepy chocolate creation is decorated with red, orange, bronze and gold lustre, plus edible green glitter for the cauldron’s gruesome, yet delicious, contents. An edible ‘dust’ was created to coat the cauldron and add features to the ghoulish skulls. Intricate details include individually piped bristles on the broomstick, each made on their own then placed onto the end of the broom handle.

This latest masterpiece follows on from a host of impressive creations built by the Cadbury World team. Recently, they created a replica of the famous Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car and the incredible Chocolatosaurus for Dinosaur’s in the Wild. Families can expect a frightfully fun week of activities at Cadbury World’s Halloween Spooktacular. Join Dermot O’Scary for this year’s Scream Factor, where Frankie Frankenstein, Witchy Woo Woo and Wolfy the Wolfman compete for a ‘Mystery Prize’. Lots of family fun and frights are to be had with plenty of opportunity to dance and sing along!

Children also have the opportunity to join in the Halloween fun, with a fancy dress competition taking place every day during the week. On the lookout for gruesomely good costumes, the brave judges will be handing out prizes to their most scary visitors. Look out for some spooky characters who will be wandering around in their best spooky costumes.

There will be opportunities to purchase hauntingly good treats in The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, including exclusive hand crafted chocolate pumpkins, Ghooost Eggs and Crunchie Spiders. There will also be a selection of spooky themed cakes in the Cadbury Café and decorations throughout the attraction.

As well as the Halloween activities, families can discover the amazing world of Cadbury through Cadbury World’s chocolatey zones. Watch a chocolatier in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone and discover their special ghostly creations! Don’t miss experiencing the feeling of diving into a pot of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk in the 4D Chocolate Adventure and exploring the interactive Purple Planet zone.
