Julia Fordham at MAC

Request show for UK tour date.

Singer songwriter Julia Fordham is heading to Birmingham next month as part of a brand new UK tour – the set list for which she has handed over to her fans.

Following her sold-out 2015 tour, the LA-based musician has asked fans to request songs from her back catalogue for her Live by Request show which comes to the MAC on November 15th.

All suggestions will be pulled from a hat before the 13-date tour which kicks off in Worthing on November 10th and finishes in her home town of Portsmouth on November 27th.
Julia’s sultry low-toned vocals that have compared her to Joni Mitchell have resulted in worldwide hits including Happy Ever After, Where Does the Time Go and Love Moves in Mysterious Ways.

Beginning her career as a backing singer for stars such as Mari Wilson and Kim Wilde, Julia released her self-titled debut album on Circa Records in 1988, which went on to be awarded Platinum status. Her second album Porcelain was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry in 1989.

Song requests for the Live by Request tour should be sent to [email protected]. For tickets to her Birmingham concert, go to www.macbirmingham.co.uk
