Celebrity chef cooks up charity treat

Glynn Purnell and friends will be creating a four-course feast this Friday.

Glynn Purnell welcomes his celebrity friends to Villa Park this Friday, 7th October, to cook up a feast for 400-plus guests at the ultimate live culinary experience.

X Factor champion Sam Bailey will help the Michelin-starred chef prepare a sumptuous starter at Glynn Purnell & Friends’ Friday Night Kitchen and later sing two of her hits. Actor Jimi Mistry will then don his apron to assist Glynn with a mouth-watering main course.

After dessert, guests can look forward to delicious petit fours from TV pastry chef and chocolatier Will Torrent.

Glynn will be joined on stage by co-hosts Suzanne Virdee, the award-winning presenter, Ed James, from Heart FM’s breakfast show, and former leukaemia patient Adam Joyce.
With Birmingham Airport as headline sponsor for the second year running, the event has raised over £100,000 for Cure Leukaemia – the blood cancer charity Glynn is a Trustee of – in the past three years and he is hoping proceeds will surge past the £150,000 mark on Friday.

Tickets sold out weeks ago so the only way to attend what has become known as the best Friday night out in the Birmingham social calendar is through sponsorship packages. For further information, visit www.GPFNK.co.uk or email [email protected]
