Vintage TV filming in Birmingham.
On Friday 1st July 2016, bubbly broadcaster-turned-blogger Sarah Cawood will be out and about in Birmingham, asking members of the public for their favourite song choices for a recorded episode of Your Vintage. The show, which is a popular series on music channel Vintage TV, gives you the chance to control the playlist by compiling stories and songs from locals and tourists alike.
Sarah will be filming in Birmingham from late morning around the city centre, talking to passersby and shoppers at places including the Bull Ring and the High Street. If you have a song selection you’re dying to see on the TV or a great anecdote about a certain track, come along and tell Sarah all about it! Starting her career as a TV presenter and broadcaster in the 1990s, Sarah Cawood has interviewed musical greats such as the Spice Girls, and is a familiar face from Saturday morning stalwarts such as Live and Kicking. Now a successful blogger, writing about daily life and motherhood, she’s bringing her personable, positive approach to Your Vintage.
The filming will result in three episodes of Your Vintage to be broadcast on Vintage TV at 11am on the 19th July, the 26th July and the 2nd August. Vintage TV can be found on Sky 369, Virgin 343, Freeview 86, YouView 86 and Freesat 505.
