Local collective BrumYODO (You Only Die Once) will also be at the market to launch their Dying Matters Awareness Week, and will have a pop-up living room on the Square for visitors to come along and find out more about their upcoming events.

Kings Heath Farmers’ Market first began back in May 2006, organised by Kings Heath Business Association, and has continued to grow in success and reputation each month. Organiser Steve Bairstow explains: “Kings Heath Farmers’ Market has really grown in size and success since starting up ten years ago, and we now host over 25 stallholders selling a wide variety of quality produce every month on Kings Heath Village Square, with the market continuing to grow and expand! We’re hoping to see a good turn out on Saturday to help us celebrate our 10th birthday, and everyone is welcome to come and join us!”

Taking place on the first Saturday of every month, the Farmers’ Market is now a regular highlight of Kings Heath’s calendar, along with their monthly street food, arts and crafts, and vintage markets, as local businessman and chairman of Kings Heath Business Association, Stan Hems, explains: “We’re very excited to be hosting the 10th anniversary of Kings Heath Farmers’ Market on the Village Square this month! Not only does the market help raise valuable funds for All Saints Centre, but it also really helps raise the profile of Kings Heath, as do all of our monthly events. Saturday is going to be a great day, and we wish the Farmers’ Market continued success here in Kings Heath!”
