Half-term family fun at Cadbury World

Extra attractions laid on for school holidays.

For a family day out that’s choc-full of fun, Cadbury World is the perfect destination this May half-term.

From Saturday 28th May until Sunday 5th June, Cadbury World’s outdoor marquee will be home to a range of entertainers for the whole family to enjoy, in a number of fun-filled shows throughout the day.

As well as a variety of magicians, ventriloquists and jugglers showcasing their extraordinary talents, the iconic Cadbury characters will also be on hand to meet and greet guests each day.

As well as the half-term fun, visitors can discover the amazing world of Cadbury through the attraction’s chocolatey zones; from travelling back 1,000 years through the Aztec Jungle, to experiencing a world of digital chocolate delights in Purple Planet, including growing your own virtual cocoa tree and dancing in virtual chocolate rain.

There’s also the chance to watch the talented chocolatiers in the Chocolate Making zone, and check out the intricate chocolate Buckingham Palace creation; all the perfect ingredients for an exciting family day out.

Not to be missed is the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, an interactive cinema experience starring the iconic Cadbury characters. Here, you can experience the feeling of riding the Crunchie rollercoaster and find out what it would be like to dive into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, all without leaving your seat.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Cadbury World is great for a day out for the whole family this half-term, from learning about the magic and making of Cadbury chocolate throughout our exciting zones, to our fun-filled live entertainment show. With so much more to come during the year too, there’s never been a better time to visit.”

Finish the day by taking on the heights of the outdoor African Adventure Play Area, which has up to three storeys of tube slides, climbing zones and rope bridges as well as a separate zone for under 5s.
