Coming to Artrix

All-round family fun at the arts centre.

Audiences have been continuing to enjoy the regular Barnstormers Comedy nights at Artrix which now have a new home in the Studio. For added comfort, there’s raked seating and a small bar, as well as the downstairs bar which will remain open throughout.

On Saturday 21st May, Artrix will be playing host to three more top acts from the London and national comedy circuit with guest Barnstormers’ compere Dan Evans on hand to oversee the proceedings.

The marvellous May line-up consists of storyteller extraordinaire Sam Avery, delightfully dim-witted life coach Danny Pensive, and the darkly droll song-and-gag-man Anthony King.

Barnstormers Comedy is at Artrix Studio on Saturday 21st May. Tickets cost £14.00

A fugitive fox and a rookie bunny cop uncover a conspiracy in Zootropolis which will be screening at Artrix Cinema during the Whitsun break. Officer Judy Hopps discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox.

Last but by no means least, families are invited to join Birmingham’s comic housewife Mrs Barbara Nice and friends for Comedy with Cake. Barbara will be joined by Maureen Younger and Ian Crawford for an afternoon session of fun and fondant on Sunday 5th June.
