Panto, Christmas plays and children’s films are amongst the treats in store for audiences at the Artrix arts centre in Bromsgrove this December.
A trip along the yellow brick road is being planned by students from New College’s Extended Diploma in Performing Arts who are performing their production of Wizard of Oz on 11th and 12th December.
Families will enjoy joining the hunt for a lost goose and her golden eggs in this year’s panto. Mother Goose, which is presented by All & Sundry, is showing from 18th to 22nd December. Then on 27th December, small people can join Beauty, the Beast and Professor Crackers when Little English Theatre presents the timeless classic Beauty and the Beast.
A Festive Crafternoon awaits younger visitors to the Artrix Foyer at lunchtime on 23rd December. Also from 23rd to 29th December there are special screenings of childrens’ films Turbo and Frozen, a charming retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen.
