Lovers of sweet soul music will be interested in a couple of upcoming dates.
A couple of Britain’s finest soul acts are appearing locally.
First up, this Friday 22nd March, are the Real Thing at the Robin 2, Bilston. The band, still featuring three original vocalists, Chris Amoo, Eddy Amoo and Dave Smith, had three million sellers amongst their hits in the seventies and are still amongst the country’s top live acts.

In addition, longstanding British singer-songwriter Roachford, will be heading in with his new album to the Glee Club Birmingham, on Sunday 20th October. He’s had platinum and fold selling albums and numerous top forty singles in a career that spans two decades, and the last five years have seen him writing and singing on everything from top five selling international dance tracks to co-writing and touring with Mike and the Mechanics.
