Marketing opportunity for Birmingham entrepreneurs.
Local freelancers and independent businesses will be able to take advantage of a unique networking concept in the city centre later this week when online small business community Enterprise Nation will be a sponsor of Coffee Birmingham, part of a ‘super-sized’ networking event for independent businesses at the heart of the city.
Enterprise Nation is linking up with the co-working organisation Jellyas part of a ‘SuperJelly’ in Birmingham on Friday 10th August. The monthly Birmingham Jelly enables independent business owners to come together in the same space and network while working on their own projects.
The Birmingham initiative will bring three cafes into the SuperJelly on the day: Urban Coffee Company, Cafe Ezra at Hotel LaTour and Six Eight Kafe. Organiser Tim Wilson has arranged for each of the three venues to offer special coffee and snack deals for ‘Jellyheads’ throughout the day, in addition to working and networking space. Furthermore, the Coco Meli Bakery will be providing free samples of their sweet and savouries for participants to enjoy.
Tim said, “Enterprise Nation completely complements Coffee Birmingham’s aim to build the city’s independent business community and to give small independent businesses opportunities to showcase what they do. As a mobile worker myself, I work in independent coffee shops all the time. They are great places to work, especially when other people are co-working in the same place.”
Enterprise Nation community manager San Sharma added, “We’re really happy to be involved. Jelly is a great excuse for hardworking homegrown business owners to get out of the house and work with new people.”
