Calm seems to be returning to the area following two nights of rioting.

West Midland Police have confirmed that 80 arrests have been made throughout the county today although trouble in Birmingham city centre has been on nowhere near the scale of last night’s disorder.

There are no further reports of large-scale problems in the centre and outlying districts are reported to be quiet. They have also stated that reports of an attack on City Hospital earlier this evening are false.
