Monday night is the second monthly final of the Robin/M2 Studios Live Band of the Year competition, featuring heat winners The Grade, Ascendance and the Experience. Tickets £4.

On Thursday night local covers band Devoted to Rock will be performing. Tickets £5.

Friday sees the highly-regarded Celtic-influenced folk rockers Quill at the Robin. Support comes from new and highly promising funk rockers Mezzotonic, whose debut single Get Wild was released last week. Tickets £8.

On Saturday UB40 tribute act Johnny 2 Bad are on stage, with support from local reggae band TRU.FAM. LIVE. Tickets £12.

Sunday has Desi C performing in Woody’s bar (lunchtime – free) and in the evening Tata Rocks 2011 is being held in aid of the Marie Curie Trust, featuring a host of local bands including Mezzotonic – who must be creating some sort of record by playing the Robin twice in three days.
