Reformed Brummie band still going strong.
Earlier this year we reported on the fondly-remembered Birmingham band Whizz For Atoms and how they were recording again after a 35-year break, despite living all over the world.
The single which came from this reunion, Touch With Love, came out on leading independent label Cherry Red and was so well-received that a follow-up, Summer Rain, has been recorded and is due for release on 18th June. Again, it was recorded all over the world, with the band’s members overcoming the problem of living in separate time zones, and is also the first song they’ve written in almost forty years.
Like their earlier release, Summer Rain will be coming out via Cherry Red and will be available on the major platforms such as Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify and Amazon Music from 18th June.
