Picking up where the popular Brum Yum Yum market left off, the Kings Heath Food Market will bring Kings Heath Village Square to life on the second Saturday of every month with a selection of the finest street food traders in Birmingham.

Organisers from Kings Heath BID have curated an impressive line up of familiar foodie faces who will be cooking up a feast for food aficionados on the day, as well as a selection of handpicked local producers selling their wares.

Amongst the traders attending the first Kings Heath Food Market next Saturday is BareBones Pizza, Fat Breads, Spice is Right, Esmie’s Kitchen, Vegan Grindhouse, Hungry Penguin Pancakes, and Vegetropolis, plus more to be announced, as well as a bar serving craft beers, wines and spirits.

There will also be live music from some of Birmingham’s best talent throughout the afternoon, with a handpicked line up of local musicians taking to the stage at the first Kings Heath Food Market courtesy of Kitchen Garden Café.

Renowned across Birmingham for its foodie credentials, Kings Heath is home to a huge selection of independent restaurants and eateries, and visiting street food markets, with the launch of the Kings Heath Food Market marking the first regular BID street food event.

Kings Heath BID Manager, Martin Mullaney, explains: “We pride ourselves on being a real foodie haven here in Kings Heath, with an already fantastic offering of global eateries and street food events throughout the year.
