With an internationally acclaimed hall, six dressing rooms, five bars, four floors and one massive loading bay, the possibilities really are endless at Symphony Hall. And now the public has a chance to see what happens behind the curtains.
This Sunday, the public are being offered the chance to peek behind the scenes to view unusual and unseen spaces as the doors are thrown open for a 25th birthday party.
There will be free performances, entertainment and special appearances with opportunities to learn and join in. Hop on a backstage tour for a tale or two, drop in on one of our family activities or simply relax and reminisce, soaking up the party atmosphere.
Besides open door performances, there’s even a chance to join a giant sing along in The Hall itself.
Join Sara Colman and Pete Churchill for an afternoon of singing. Organisers say: ‘Don’t worry if you can’t read music – everything will be taught by ear. All ages, all abilities, everyone welcome.’
