St John’s Hotel in Solihull inspired blushing brides-to-be and their grooms when it held its first wedding showcase.
The four-star hotel in Warwick Road – one of the largest wedding venues in Birmingham and Solihull – showed off its first-class banqueting facilities and picturesque grounds to couples looking for an exclusive wedding venue at the event earlier this month.
As they enjoyed a complimentary glass of bubbly, the couples had the chance to speak to the hotel’s dedicated wedding co-ordinator and meet local businesses, including a day spa, photographer, entertainment providers and formal wear suppliers.
Tony Hill, cluster general manager for the Principal Hayley hotel group, which owns St John’s, said the showcase had already resulted in it securing two wedding reception bookings.
“It is the first time we have held our own wedding showcase and we were pleased that so many local businesses were able to come and support the event so that couples could see exactly what excellent facilities they had right on their doorstep,” he said.
“St John’s Hotel has fantastic facilities for weddings of all sizes and our wedding co-ordinator can help the day go as smoothly as possible, helping couples to realise their dreams for their big day.

St John’s Hotel will also be hosting a Western Wedding Fayre on September 2 and an Asian Wedding Fayre on October 21.
