Part of the Home of Metal weekender celebrations
A former Iron Maiden front man will be performing at The Public in West Bromwich as part of the Midlands’ Home of Metal weekender.
On Friday 2 September, Birmingham born Blaze Bayley, will be performing at the West Bromwich venue alongside legendary Wolfsbane guitarist Jase Edwards, in an incredible acoustic show.
Having started his career at the age of 21 with Wolfsbane in 1984, Blaze Bayley left to become the lead singer of British metal band Iron Maiden in 1994, performing on the albums, The X Factor, Virtual XI and Best of the Beast.
Following his departure from the band in 1999, Bayley continued to release his own music under the names of Blaze and Blaze Bayley, producing 6 studio albums to date and touring worldwide.
The special unplugged show at The Public will see the talented duo reunited, performing acoustic versions of hits from Iron Maiden, Wolfsbane and Blaze Bayley. The informal and fun evening of entertainment will provide metal fans with an exclusive opportunity to meet the legendary musicians as they share their touring memories.
Support comes from Matt Tyler from Great Barr and Dudley’s Rich Sewell.
