On Tuesday night Terry Reid is at the Robin. Reckoned to have been offered the job of singing with both Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, touring with the likes of Cream and the Rolling Stones as well as playing the original Isle of Wight Festival is a fair pedigree, and forty-odd years later one of the most highly-regarded British blues singers of all time is still recording. He’s also playing gigs which are as emotionally charged as ever. Tickets £15.
Wednesday sees a blues package headed by the up and coming WT Feaster Band, a highly-regarded American rocking combo influenced by Alvin Lee and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Support comes from two of Britain’s most promising blues acts, Virgil & the Accelerators and Mitch Laddi, a protégé of the great guitarist Walter Trout. Tickets £12.50.
