Blues draw with Coventry, watched by Andy Munro.
A home match against bottom of the table (albeit with games in hand) Coventry City was a banana skin waiting to happen after two good results and this gloomy prediction almost came to pass.
It certainly looked a bit bleak in the first half when a dominant Coventry side could have been out of sight, but the Blues defence held firm with keeper John Ruddy and stopper Auston Trusty outstanding.
Luckily we bucked up in the second half and might have pinched a win, even if it would have flattered us over the ninety. Both the Juke and Trusty could have clinched all the points in the dying minutes but even though we didn’t play well, one thing this Blues team is showing is tenacity, and other than the Rotherham reverse, this has been the key point of games so far this season.
