Andy Munro writes about transfer activity at Blues.
Just like the seemingly never-ending ownership saga, there’s been a lot of talk recenty on the Blues fransfer front, but precious little in the way of action.
Now, at last, we have two ‘new’ players, Admittedly they’re only on loan but they are players of decent calibre who are not even approaching pensionable age.
We already know about Dion Sanderson from his loan spell during the first half of 2021-22 and he will bring pace at the back. At the other end of the pitch the Polish Przemysław Placheta, signed for the season from Norwich, will do the same on the wing.
With our usual crop of promising youngsters getting some more game time to add to what we saw from them last season, we probably only need a couple more outfield players and a keeper and we’re good to go – led hopefully by a young and success-hungry manager. Although would a new owner be too much to ask for?
