Lockdown restrictions mean Tudor Grange event put back.
The organisers of this year’s Solihull Summer Fest hav revealed that they have been forced to move the event from its original date in July to early September.
Last week’s announcement from the Prime Minister regarding the lockdown roadmap left festival organisers in what they described as “a very challenging position”.
While the new ‘freedom date’ meant that the event, due to take place at Tudor Grange Park on 24th & 25th July, could have gone ahead, any further restrictions would have left little time for a last-minute change of date.
Therefore, he decision has bene made to change the date of the festival to 11th & 12th September. All tickets will automatically transfer to the new date, although there is aso the option to transfer to next year’s eventor request a refund. Full details will be emailed to ticket holders on Monday 28th June from The Ticket Sellers.
The re-scheduling has inevitably meant some chnges to the line-up, with Kool & The Gang, Billy Ocean, Belinda Carlisle and SNAP! unable to commit to the new dates. New headliners are due to be announced as soon as they have been confirmed
Most importanly, organsiers have stressed that, “Solihull Summer Fest is still happening this year!”
