The vocational college, located across six different campuses throughout the City, currently supports over 900 apprentices who are in the process of completing an Apprenticeship. Candidates are studying qualifications in a range of subject areas from professional and creative studies, construction and life sciences, where many students have secured placements with local Birmingham businesses as part of their qualification.

South and City College Birmingham’s dedicated apprenticeships team is offering to support any apprentice or business affected by the collapse of 3aaa to support candidates to continue on their qualifications, whilst maintaining their employed positions with some of the city’s leading businesses.

“The news of 3AAA going into administration is a shock. We are now working with the Education and Skills Funding Agency to help support apprentices and businesses in and around Birmingham that have been affected.

“Over the last five years, we have helped over 30,00 students achieve a vast range of exciting apprenticeship opportunities and will continue to do so during this year and beyond.”
