Entertainers to liven up school holidays.
Families are invited to experience the magic of Cadbury World this summer holiday with entertainment that’s choc-full of fun for guests of all ages.
From 1st August–2nd September, a variety of family entertainers from ventriloquists to magicians will take up residence in the Cadbury World marquee by the African Adventure Play Area in a series of live shows to captivate the whole family.
During the summer holidays, Cadbury World will also be giving visitors a brand new way to experience the attraction as young detectives set off on an adventure with Freddo to find a missing hop. An assortment of clues will be hidden throughout Cadbury World’s chocolatey zones as children are invited to follow the trail and solve the mystery. Each child that completes the challenge will receive a special Freddo gift.
Guests can also catch the famous frog and his friends at the popular Character Breakfasts throughout the summer holidays. Visitors can meet and greet some of Cadbury’s most iconic characters – shaking hands with Freddo, high fiving Mr Cadbury’s Parrot and posing for a selfie with the Caramel Bunny.
As well as sharing personal magical moments with the lovable characters, visitors can tuck into a delicious treat of either a full English breakfast (vegetarian option also available), sausage, bacon or egg muffin, or American pancakes or waffle with Cadbury chocolate sauce, bananas and cream. All options are served with a choice of orange juice, tea, coffee or, of course, hot chocolate.
Those enjoying Character Breakfasts will also benefit from priority entry to Cadbury World and its two rides; the 4D cinema and Cadabra. Breakfast treats are priced from £6.99 per person and can be booked online at www.cadburyworld.co.uk
Beyond the range of additional activities, the self-guided Cadbury World tour in the fully air-conditioned building is packed full of fun and adventure for the whole family with an assortment of chocolatey zones to explore. The 4D Chocolate Adventure zone can be found right next to the African Adventure Play Area, and guests can experience the feeling of riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster and diving into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, all without leaving their seats.
Explore the history and heritage through the Aztec Jungle and Bull Street, before catching the talented chocolatiers in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone. Don’t forget to take a walk through time in Advertising Avenue to come face to face with everyone’s favourite drumming gorilla!
Visitors can make the most of the sunshine in the outdoor African Adventure Play Area, filled with tube slides, climbing zones and rope bridges. With a separate under 5s zone for mini-explorers to enjoy, it’s also the perfect place for adults to relax with a drink or snack.
With much more on offer, including The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop and the onsite Cadbury Café – with a selection of Cadbury-themed summertime treats including frappes, milkshakes and ice creams – Cadbury World is the perfect destination for a chocolate-themed day trip this summer.
All entertainment is included in the standard ticket price, ensuring a visit to Cadbury World is a great value family day out all year round. Visitors planning a trip this summer can also enjoy an extra 5% saving when booking online in advance.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “There is so much happening this summer holiday with live entertainment and plenty to discover in our chocolatey zones. A visit to Cadbury World this summer is sure to be a fun-filled experience for all the family whatever the weather.”
