Irish stand-up comedian, comedy writer and actor Grainne Maguire likes to shock people. Her tweet about her menstrual cycle to the Irish Taoiseach went viral and she’s never been known to hold back in her stand-up performances either.
Nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, she’s performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Bulmers Galway Comedy Festival and The Cats Laugh Festival in Kilkenny. When she’s not doing stand-up, she can often be heard on BBC Radio 4’s Now Show and regularly writes for Dead Ringers and the News Quiz.

It’s raining outside but there are plenty of fun things to do inside with Sid and his dog Fuzzy. Following on from the success of CBeebies Sid’s Show, this time we venture into a fish tank to discover what a mermaid is doing with Sid’s TV remote control, who has her pearls and whether Sid can make friends with a dangerous shark!
Sid’s Deep Sea Discovery Show is an exciting and colourful underwater adventure which bubbles over with sea creatures, songs, stalagmite and stalactites. Once again Sid has produced a fantastic treat for the CBeebies viewer (age 2+) and their family. It’s at Artrix on Sunday 12th February at 2.00 pm. Tickets cost £13.00 (£11.00)
