Cadbury World plays host to festive sculpture.
It’s ‘penguin-ing’ to look a lot like Christmas at Cadbury World, as the talented chocolatiers have created their very own chocolate penguin.
Standing at 4ft tall and weighing over 57kg, the festive showstopper is made up of a mixture of Cadbury milk and white chocolate, and took two chocolatiers just two days to make. Featuring a knitted hat topped with a white chocolate pom-pom and red lustre, a fairisle patterned scarf, and gold webbed feet for a touch of festive sparkle, the intricate creation is based upon the popular chocolate penguins which are available to buy exclusively on-site at the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop during the festive period.
Created to spread the joy of Christmas, and to mark the recent arrival of Cadbury World’s Christmas Celebration Weekends, the penguin will be on display in the attraction’s popular Chocolate Making zone until Christmas.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “During the festive period, our chocolatiers always look forward to creating something magical for visitors, and this year we’re excited to have recreated the penguin – one of our most iconic festive chocolate figures. Our chocolate penguin has certainly helped us all get in the festive spirit, and we hope our visitors will enjoy seeing him here this Christmas.”
Featuring the exclusive Cadbury World Cinderella pantomime and the Santa Show, Cadbury World’s Christmas Celebration Weekends take place every weekend until Sunday 18th December, before a final three shows on 20th, 21st and 22nd December.
