Comemmoration event for church centre.
An evening to commemorate the Centenary of the Somme will take place at the Beacon Church Centre on Thursday 30th June, hosted by Rubery Drama Group as part of the Bromsgrove Festival
The evening includes Excerpts from The Accrington Pals by Peter Whelan, performed by Rubery Drama Group, music from the Rubery Youth Marching Band, Songs from World War One by the Rubery Community Choir and an Act of Commemoration.
The event is part of the nationwide commemorations of the Battle of the Somme and takes place at Beacon Church Centre, Whetty Lane, Rubery, B45 9DL, beginning at 7.30.
