There’s another night of top quality music in store this Friday when Birmingham Jazz presents the Ivo Neame Quintet at the Red Lion in the Jewellery Quarter.
Known widely for his linchpin roles with Phronesis and Marius Neset, effulgent beacon of contemporary jazz piano Ivo Neame has taken a side step from his octet and other projects to release an exciting new release entitled Strata. This collection of eight Neame originals will be featured during this performance with Ivo leading an innovative five-piece band that makes for an enduring and exciting listen.
