Real ale enthusiasts invited.
Residents of Knowle and Dorridge are being invited to raise a glass as pints make pounds for charity at Knowle’s annual beer festival.
Organised by Round Table, the UK’s largest young mens organisation, the festival will take place on Friday, 20th March from 6.30pm and Saturday, 21st March from midday at The Royal British Legion, Knowle.
Visitors will be treated to a selection of 30 beers, five ciders and three perrys from all around the UK. On the Saturday afternoon, three Six Nations fixtures will be shown live on the big screen along with live music in the evening from lead guitarist Neil Murdoch from Blue Nation.
Mike Liddington, chairman for Knowle & Dorridge beer festival, said: “We are very excited to be showcasing some of the best UK brewers and raising much needed funds for local charities.
“We have been raising a glass to great ales for four years now and we want to raise everyone’s spirit during the cold months. It’s a great social event and a chance to enjoy a drink with friends.”
Admission for the festival is £10, which includes a souvenir glass, a beer guide and £5 worth of beer tokens. Round Table and Camra members receive an extra £1 beer token.
